Why should I pay for porn?

People often ask, “why should I pay for porn, when I can find it for free on the Net?” So I figured I’d answer why explaining why I buy subscriptions to pay sites.

I used to just go to all the thumbnail and movie gallery posts spots and download porn from Kazaa. After getting spyware and viruses from P2P networking for the 4th time, I decided to limit my use of there services. Reformatting the hard drive and getting all the settings back to how I like them usually takes me about 15-20 hours. And, frankly, it’s just no fun.

The movie galleries are ok, but normally I have to surf for 15 minutes to 45 mins just to find less than 2 minutes of good sex scenes with hot women. Then I realized that with all my jerking off, I was spending about 15 hours a month looking for good porn. Now in any line of work, if you are making less than $2 per hour, then I guess it makes sense to scour for your own porn. But if you like good porn, and you are searching for more than 3 hours per month for it, you are better off just getting a membership to a premier site.

Lets say you search for porn for 4 hours per month and have some crappy job that only pays you like $14 an hour. That means you have invested $56 worth of your time looking for porn that will be nowhere near as good as if you had just paid the $20 or $30 for a good site. Instead of fresh content with hot women, you’re settling for the same recycled crap in tiny clips and wasting your time to boot.

For all the porn I look at every month, it’s worth it for me to just be a member to 4-6 sites and get all the great porn I want. It’s about the cost of one date, and they never say “I’m too tired” at the end of the night.

For me, it’s a no-brainer.
